Contexte
Following the 2013 attacks during Boston Marathon, the security of this event is the top priority. In this context, Bertin Instruments went to Boston to help for the surveillance of the marathon.
The Second Sight® MS, as a standoff gas detector, is able to give all needed information such as:
• Nature of the gas and concentration
• Localization of source point
• Extent and evolution of the contamination
This instruments ensures a early warning in case of chemical threat and allows the first responders to go onsite with the appropriate equipment to confirm the alarm and help injured people, if any.
